Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra Leak Detector

The Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra is a compact ultrasonic leak detector designed specifically for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The Tru Pointe Ultra is a pocket-size electronic instrument that can simultaneously detect the vacuum and high pressure leaks that occur in HVAC/R systems. The Tru Pointe Ultra guides the user to a leak by quantifying the intensity of the ultrasound and converting it to a sound the user can hear easily through headphones.

The Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra detects airborne ultrasound and is not particular to gas chemistry so it can detect all types of gases including nitrogen and refrigerants rushing in a system under vacuum. An electronic conversion process called heterodyning translates this ultrasound into true audible sound that helps the user distinguish leaks through headphones.

The Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra readings are not affected by wind or the presence of other gases or high concentrations. There is a ten-step LED bar graph that displays a visual representation of signal strength. The on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment aids in locating leaks quickly and the true sound reproduction ensures fast recognition of leaks.

The Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra Kit includes a folding headset. The Bacharach Tru Pointe Ultra HD Kit includes high quality stereo headphones. Both the Tru Pointe Ultra and Tru Pointe Ultra HD are available in a kit with the SoundBlaster ultrasonic sound generator which artificially pressurizes rooms, tanks and other enclosures with sound that the Tru Pointe can detect thus helping to locate leaks.
