Time Electronics 7015 Dual Channel Pressure Calibrator

The Time Electronics 7015 dual channel pressure calibrator is robust, portable and suitable for field and laboratory calibration of both pressure and electrical process loop signals. It is simple to operate and ideal for calibrating and cross-checking pressure gauges, sensors, transmitters, transducers, indicators, switches and many other devices.

For process signal calibration the loop signal is displayed to 0.05% accuracy. Loop drive supply (24V or 36V) is also provided. Both pressure and loop signal can be displayed at the same time to speed up the calibration of pressure transmitters. A continuity function is also available for testing for open circuit loops. The 7015 allows switch selection of five pressure units on channel one and four pressure units on channel two, which also shows mA. Common pressure units are configured as standard, but user-specified units can be requested. Both pressure and loop current are displayed on 4.5-digit LCD displays.

The 7015 has an RS-232 interface and can be controlled via Time Electronics EasyCal software to automate the calibration process, providing increased speed of calibration and consistency of results. Traceable calibration certificates and test reports can be produced for quality standards with additional uncertainty information for ISO 17025 conformance.

The 7015 features internal rechargeable cells, but can also be AC-powered if necessary. The calibrator is housed in an impact-resistant safety case that provides protection and increased durability. All pressure connections are located on the side of the case. The 7015 is supplied with two pressure hoses, an electrical test lead, two electrical probes and two crocodile clips.

The handheld 7006 loop simulator is available as an option for process control signal simulation. It provides 4-20mA and 0-10V signals at levels of 0, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90 and 100%. The 7006 can also step through these set points automatically to allow hands-free calibration. It is battery-powered and can be stored in the 7015's supplied carry pouch.
