The Setra SRCM is a room pressure and condition monitor designed to ensure the proper pressurization of critical environments and to alert staff and personnel of any change in pressure down to just 0.001 inches of water column. The SRCM can be configured to monitor either positive-pressure clean rooms such as pharmaceutical processing areas as well as negative-pressure environments such as hospital isolation rooms in accordance with CDC guidelines. The monitor is available with optional BACnet network capability for integration in building automation control systems.
The Setra SRCM Room Condition Monitor is available in ranges up to ±5.0 inH2O or ±1000 Pa. Standard accuracy is ±0.50% FS with optional ±0.25% FS accuracy available. The SRCM utilizes an enclosed design. The sensors do not come in contact with the air in the conditioned spaces being monitored and, therefore, do not need frequent lint removal or any other frequent servicing.
The SRCM is an all inclusive unit that provides room condition, room identification, security, calibration, and room pressure status all in one unit. A large, easy to see graphic RGB backlit touch-screen display allows fingertip access to menus that guide the user through room setup. A green LED indicates normal conditions and a red LED, with accompanying audible alarm, signals unsatisfactory room pressure status. A single pole, double throw (SPDT) relay is provided for remote annunciation.
