The Rosemount 936 toxic gas detector provides continuous monitoring of toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas or ammonia (NH3) gas in harsh environments where dust, fog, rain, snow or vibration can cause a high rate of signal reduction or failure. This device utilizes ultraviolet flash technology with has a high immunity to false alarms and has long range detection up to 200ft (60m). Worldwide approvals for the Rosemount 936 include ATEX, IECEx, FM/FMC, INMETRO, TR CU, and SIL 2 (TÜV).
