The KROHNE OPTISONIC 6300P V2 Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a portable, clamp-on meter for temporary flow measurement of (non-)conductive liquids in virtually all industries. It can be used at virtually any location without interrupting the process or cutting pipes. Due to its flexibility, the flow meter is equally suited for comparative measurements on stationary measuring equipment (e.g. pumps, flow meters, etc) or for use as a short-term replacement of faulty devices. The clamp-on flow meter comes with a measurement option for thermal energy applications as standard.
The 6300P combines robust, easy-to-mount clamp-on sensor rails with a battery-powered signal converter for 1 or 2 path measurement. The portable converter comes with full measurement functionality and an integrated data logger. All measurement data can be monitored and analyzed via a smart handheld or mobile device using the OPTISONIC 6300P mobile app. The Android app is free and makes it easy to set up and commission the clamp-on flow meter. A user-friendly installation wizard guides the user through the configuration process. A USB cable or secure wireless Bluetooth connection transfers data between the smart device and signal converter. All data is saved on the mobile device and can be evaluated.
