The Kobold REG automatic flow regulating valve keeps the flow of liquid constant by decreasing the cross-section of an orifice proportionally as the pressure increases. Kobold valves are particularly suitable for networks supplying several users, as they can maintain the flow rate over a wide range of pressures.
Depending on your desired flow rate, the Kobold REG automatic flow regulating valve can be as accurate as ±0.05 gallons per minute. The REG valve has no manually operated parts and requires no maintenance once it has been installed. There are no electrical or pneumatic control lines either.
The Kobold REG automatic flow regulating valve is self-actuating and requires no additional energy source to operate. The maximum operating pressure for the REG is 2900 psig and the maximum differential pressure is 145 psi.
