Decodes and analysis for I2C, SPI, UART (RS-232) protocols for DSOX1204A or DSOX1204G.
I2C: Trigger at a start/stop condition or user-defined frame with address and/or data values. Also, trigger on missing acknowledge, restart, EEPROM read and 10-bit write.
RS-232/422/485/UART: Trigger on Rx or Tx start bit, stop bit, data content or parity error.
SPI: Trigger on SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) data pattern during a specific framing period. Supports positive and negative chip select framing as well as clock idle framing. Supports MOSI or MISO (4-channel models) data as half duplex data.
These compact, broadband directional couplers are important components for many microwave measurement systems. Although most modern signal generators and sweepers supply signals whose power levels are stable with respect to frequency, variations in signal level are introduced due to the cable losses (which increase with frequency) and the frequency response of other components in the signal path. Inserting a directional coupler into the system with a suitable microwave detector to supply feedback to the ALC circuit of a signal generator or sweeper provides a leveled signal at a particular point in the system.
