The ifm efector VW Series Wireless Vibration Sensor intermittently transmits the rms vibration velocity (v-RMS) and temperature to the correct gateway via a proprietary mesh protocol. The gateway can be integrated into the IT environment either via MQTT or HTTP Rest.
In addition to Ethernet TCP/IP and Wi-Fi communication, it also supports network-independent communication options based on the NB-IoT, LTE CAT m1 or 2G GSM mobile radio standards.
