The Gizmo Engineering tank level alarm is a battery operated alarm designed for rough, wet environments. It contains no wetted metal parts and has a float switch enclosed inside the pipe. The uninterruptable battery power allows the alarm to remain continuously on duty and the battery life lasts for years, as well as aiding against power failures. There is a low battery alert built in for the 9 volt battery power.
The tank level alarm triggers a buzzer when liquid levels have deviated from the desired level, measured by a float switch. The float switch is protected inside a float guard, providing a barrier against physical damage. Additionally, the enclosures are made from a rugged, weatherproof PVC material, making these alarms suitable for outdoor environments as well. There are different operating modes available, such as snooze alarm feature, that can be used to fit a user’s need in alarm functionality.
