Ashcroft Type 200 Series diaphragm seals are available with process connection ranging from 1/4 to 8 inches in a wide variety of process connection materials. The 200 Series is Teflon gasketed and provides a continuous-duty diaphragm capsule that is welded to the top housing, which clamps to the bottom housing. The top housing is interchangeable with all standard Ashcroft housings.
Applications for Ashcroft Type 200 Series diaphragm seals include elevated process temperatures, corrosive services, isolation of the process for safety, suspended solids in the process, sanitary connections, minimize process dead leg, and cleaning between batches.
