The APG PT-500E Pressure Transducer is a rugged submersible pressure transmitter designed for tank liquid level measurement, water and wastewater industries, and well depth measurement. This product line includes NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372-certifications, for use with potable water applications. The versatility and reliability of the PT-500E make it a great multi-purpose level sensor.
The PT-500E has a range of up to 300 psi (or 692 ftH2O) with an accuracy of ±0.25% of span (BFSL). The zero point can be easily reset in the field so if the unit drifts a bit it can be quickly brought back within spec, meaning you won’t need to have the transducer recalibrated as often. Each transducer also includes built-in lightning protection as a standard feature protecting the units and saving users from needing an expensive industrial surge protector.
The Modbus RTU and 4-20mA variants are compatible with APG’s remote monitoring gateway, Settler. This technology permits ready remote access to level readings from a smartphone, tablet or PC thanks to quick and secure data transmission to APG’s online cloud-based interface, Explorer.
