The APG MPX-E level transmitter is part of the MPX family of magnetostrictive liquid level probes that measure both the interface level and the total volume. The smaller, lighter-weight floats of the MPX-E model allow it to be used in applications where space is limited.
The MPX liquid level sensor is designed for high turbidity environments, and is certified for installation in hazardous areas in the US and Canada by CSA for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 and Class I, Zones 1 and 2 environments. The RS-485 Modbus RTU output makes the MPX compatible with any Modbus controller or PLC, and it simplifies wiring dramatically.
