The APG MPI-F level sensor is designed for ease of use. The sensor features a 316L stainless steel flexible tubing braided stem that coils for compact shipping. With the stem weight attached, the stem uncoils easily for simple installation in tall tanks, eliminating the need for a crane. Installation can also be done without compromising the sensor’s intrinsically safe rating.
The MPI series of level sensors feature a RS-485 Modbus RTU output, making them compatible with any Modbus controller or PLC. The sensors also pair with an MDI display to create a self-contained, intrinsically safe level measurement and display system with no barriers required.
