The cooling stand and sieve was designed to allow the operator who is cleaning tooling to safely locate the very hot parts basket out of the way. Its secondary role is to capture any ash and carbon residue from the plastic in the sieve which allows reusable aluminum oxide sand to fall into the catch pan.
