The heavy duty Amprobe HD160C multimeter is a professional-grade digital multimeter designed for use in harsh environments. The Amprobe HD160C is IP67 rated to prevent dirt, grime, and moisture from entering the case and causing inaccurate readings or damaging shorts. Additionally, the housing is built of tough, fire retardant thermoplastic resistant to grease and chemical spills. All sensitive components are shock-mounted for a drop resistance to at least eight feet. The Amprobe HD160C multimeter has an extended voltage measurement capability of 1500 V DC and 1000 V AC which is unmatched by any other line of digital multimeters. This Amprobe multimeter also accurately measures AC/DC current, temperature, frequency, and capacitance. All measured values are shown on the HD160C's high resolution LCD display with bargraph and Digi-Glo bright backlight. An audible continuity test is also included.
