Locate and follow energized (up to 115VAC) or unenergized conductors using this transmitter and receiver set. To operate, simply attach the transmitter leads to the cable, wire, conduit or pipe to be traced. Follow the transmitter's signal by moving the receiver's antenna over the object's suspected path until there is a null. Simply follow the nulls to trace the path up to 1000' from the transmitter. Transmitter signal strength is adjustable to reduce bleed-through in applications involving bundles of wire or cable. May also be used to determine the depth (up to 3') of buried cable, conduit, or pipe. Transmitter and receiver come complete with 9V batteries, instructions, and a 9.5" x 8" x 3" carrying case.
