The Hedland Flow Meter for Air and Compressed Gases is a low cost, industrial class variable area flow meter. These in-line flow rate indicators are designed to monitor pressurized air and other compressed gases. This Hedland meter features rugged metal body construction that is relatively insensitive to shock and vibration.

The Hedland Flow Meter for Air and Compressed Gases is offered in seven port sizes from 1/4" to 3" for flow ranges from 0.5 to 2200 SCFM. These flow meters have a temperature range of -20 to 240°F (-29 to 116°C).

The Hedland Flow Meter for Air and Compressed Gases is available in aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The stainless steel flow meters are pressure rated for 1,500 psi/103 bar maximum with a 10:1 safety factor. Aluminum and brass products are pressure rated for 1,000 psi/69 bar maximum (250 psi/17 bar maximum for 3" series) with a 10:1 safety factor. Brass meters are highly recommended for air systems with high water content or for systems where galvanic corrosion may be a problem.

Multi-Pressure Scale

This simple, direct reading flow scale features a vertically graduated scale, calibrated for air (1.0 specific gravity @ 70°F) in standard cubic feet/minute (SCFM). It also displays a horizontally graduated series of pressure levels (range lines) calibrated from 40 to 130 PSI.

Applications

  • Test Air Compressor Output at Pressure
  • Monitor Air Line Loss
  • Maximize Pneumatic Tool Performance
  • Check Relief Valve Settings
  • Adjust Regulator for Proper Flow Rates & Pressures
