The Gizmo Engineering Liquid Level Probe contains a float switch mounted to the bottom of an adjustable pipe. The level sensor is protected by a float guard, and electronics are kept a distance away in an enclosure. The probe is designed for tanks with very low headroom, or for very tall tanks where the electronics must be brought down to the operator level.
Depth adjustment can be done by hand via loosening the cord grip and sliding the probe to the correct depth. When tightened, the cord grip provides a waterproof seal. The output from the float switch is N.O. or N.C., and the switch is reversible. The probe includes 10ft of thick wall-shielded communications cable to connect with the process. The probe can be mounted via fitting the 1in NPT cord grip into a threaded tank bushing, or via the supplied rim-mount bracket.
