The Georg Fischer Type 567 Butterfly Valve has a unique double eccentric design from George Fischer that means the disc is not in contact with the seal in the open position. The result is less wear and operating torques half our previous model. Better chemical compatibility is achieved because the inner body is the same material as the pipe. Type 567 is a wafer style butterfly valve rated for pressures up to 150PSI and temperatures of up to 80°C for Beta-PP and CPVC, 120°C for PVDF, and 60°C for PVC. Lever and gear operator are both available. In lever version, the opening angle is clearly indicated on the index plate. The unique Q-ring design insures a superior seal with virtually any type of flange without the need for additional gaskets.
