Badger Meter Series 340 Energy Transmitter, 1550 Energy Monitor, and 2300 Energy Monitor each require two temperature sensors, as well as a flow sensor, to operate. The proper selection and placement of the temperature sensors is extremely important to the operation of these energy monitors. There are a number of options available to help maximize the efficiency of BTU monitoring.
Badger Meter temperature sensors are available in either thermistor or RTD styles. Thermowells utilize ¼, ½ or ¾” NPT fittings and are available in depths from 1-5/8″ to 6″ and include a ½” conduit connection.
