The Aventics Series A interchangeable cylinder is a NFPA pneumatic cylinder with over 22 mounting styles available. The oversized wear band on the rear of the high strength steel piston allows for a longer product life span. The high-strength aluminum alloy tube provides corrosion-free sealing surface and abrasion resistance. The ductile steel piston rod has a ground, polished, and hard chrome-plated surface providing maximum bushing and seal life.
Other features include a highly durable polyurethane rod wiper. Tie rods are 100,000 psi minimum-yield steel for maximum holding power. Tie rod threads are rolled for strength and engagement. Additionally, an enhanced port design enables increased flow rate and allows faster breakaway. Lastly, the bushing retainer permits cartridge removal without disassembly.
