AccuMac AM1610 Precision Industrial PRT uses a specially aged and tested, 5mm long sensing element. With very little heat loss along the sheath, it is a great tool for testing the vertical temperature uniformity of heat sources.
The sensing element is designed to protect the platinum sensing wire from contamination at high temperatures, giving the device a high level of stability and repeatability. A uniquely designed support structure and filling material provides an excellent balance between the hysteresis effect, mechanical shock and thermal shock performance.
