The Panametrics PT9-TG2 ultrasonic thickness gauge has been designed for operation in harsh working environments like Oil & Gas (pipelines, pressure vessels & storage tanks), Petrochemical and Power Generation.
The PT9-TG2 features a rugged housing, ergonomical design and long battery life (60 hours) – all in a lightweight, handheld package. The backlit LCD display and watertight/dust-proof membrane keypad incorporate function and arrow keys for easy one-hand use. Other features include Min/Max capture, B-Scan generation, alarms and differential thickness measurement to compare measured and nominal thickness. The thickness gauge includes a “DUAL MULTI” operating mode. This feature allows users to measure the thickness of metal through coatings – no need to remove the coating at the measuring point.
