The MTL SD Modular Series Surge Protectors take the MTL SD range of surge protectors for signal and I/O cabling and adds the flexibility of a replaceable plug-in module. The hot-swap design of the modules with the feed-through base option allows replacement of the module without interruption of the process signal. The “make before break” contact configuration provides added safety for taking any residual voltages down to earth.
The multi-stage high performance hybrid circuit provides protection for I/O in demanding applications and hostile areas. Each plugin module provides full hybrid line-line and line-ground protection.
The SD modular range is backwards compatible with existing installed SD units. The footprint will enable the user to replace already installed SD’s with the new modular design.
